Day 1 – Tuesday November 28th – Flights arrive at MCI, travel to Branson, MO
Upon arrival in Missouri, we’ll stop for a late lunch at Buca De Beppo… enjoy fresh, authentic Italian food served family style… Next, we’ll head out for Branson! We’ll stop for a leg stretch along the way. Radisson Hotel, Branson, MO (L)
Day 2 – Wednesday November 29th – Branson – Local Touring
Enjoy a full breakfast buffet at the hotel this morning, before we set off for our adventure! (You will receive breakfast vouchers for your entire stay upon check-in.) We’ll kick this one off with the Irish Tenors… An exciting production featuring two talented groups of performers, Dublin’s Irish Tenors and the Celtic Ladies show offers some of the finest voices of Emerald Isle and Ireland. Lunch is served at McFarlain’s Family Restaurant… Inspired by the IMAX adventure “Ozarks Legacy & Legend”, McFarlain’s is a Branson exclusive. Now you’re primed and ready for the Haygoods… five brothers and one sister—combined with elaborate visual effects, more than 20 different instruments, energetic choreography, beautiful harmonies and more. You’ll have some time to freshen up before dinner at Montana Mikes; they’re known for their USDA steaks, hand-cut at the restaurant and grilled to your liking. You’re in for a treat tonight… “Clay Cooper’s Country Express” is a must-do for every visit to Branson! Headlined by Branson veteran artist, the incomparable Clay Cooper, this is one variety show that brings the music and fun in spades! And it’s certainly a variety; classic and current country, pop favorites, inspiring gospel, and patriotic music sure to make you proud to be an American. Day 3 – Thursday November 30th – Branson
After the breakfast we take in All Hands on Deck… fresh off a national tour. Themed as an All-American 1942 Roadshow, audiences are treated to singing, dancing, a 9-piece orchestra, funny skits, and 42 of the greatest American songs ever written. Next lunch is served at Shorty Smalls… they serve up generous portions of classic Southern comfort foods, such as barbecued ribs and chicken… yum! After lunch we’ll take in Putting on the Ritz… offers beautifully arranged routines from many major films from the last 50 years. Guests can enjoy a special tribute to the award-winning Fred Astaire, as well as a stunning series of numbers that showcase precise tap, elegant ballet and smooth ballroom skills of the talented cast. Dinner is at Jackie B Goode’s Uptown Café… the 50’s and 60’s are alive and well here at the café, featuring delicious food and live entertainment. Next enjoy an amazing tribute to Patsy Cline… you need to catch Classic Country’s Patsy Cline & Friends. Starring C.J. Day 4 – Friday December 1st – Branson
Our first stop today is the College of the Ozarks. They are committed to its founding mission of providing a quality, Christian education to those who are found worthy, but who are without sufficient means to obtain such training. Instead of paying tuition, all full-time students work campus jobs to defray the cost of education. Upon complete participation in the Work Education Program, the College guarantees to meet the entire cost of education for students, allowing them the opportunity to graduate debt-free. The College openly discourages debt by not participating in any federal, state, or private loan programs and leads by example through having no institutional debt of any kind. We stop for lunch at the Grand Country Buffet on our way to one of Branson’s most popular venues, the Sight & Sound Theatre… It is the best destination for spectacular Christian productions that are entertaining and uplifting! Watch in awe as the theater brings The Miracle of Christmas… The birth of Jesus Christ is brought to life right before your eyes. Featuring an unstoppable cast and state-of-the-art special effects, Miracle of Christmas provides audiences with an uplifting story, captivating songs, and a sense of wonder. Dinner will be on your own tonight, and your evening is free to explore or take in a show of your choice! Day 5 – Saturday December 2nd – Branson
We’ll depart for a truly unique experience, the Titanic Museum… See and WALK the to-scale sized Grand Staircase; meet the crew members; receive a boarding pass with an actual passenger’s information, allowing you to make haunting emotional connections through their words and stories. Next, enjoy an enchanting riverboat luncheon cruise onboard the Showboat Branson Belle… featuring a three-course meal, variety show, and the opportunity to sightsee along Table Rock Lake, where there is not a single iceberg! You’ll have time to freshen up before we head to our farewell dinner at Florentina’s… Enjoy homemade sauces, signature creations made fresh daily, authentic brick oven pizzas, an inviting atmosphere…and so much more. Our finale is Duton’s… where Mom, Dad, brothers, sisters, in-laws, and the grandkids all work together to put on one of Branson’s most enduring and powerful shows! Guests can enjoy a variety of singers, dancers, reindeer and penguins, plus favorite holiday songs performed by the Moon River Orchestra and main singers. Finally, we’ll visit Branson’s 57th Trail of Lights… a drive-thru animation display that will carry you into the very heart of Christmas. The Trail winds its way through the historic 160-acre Shepherd of the Hills Homestead, and will take you down the famous “Trail that Nobody Knows How Old” into a holiday wonderland. Day 6 – Sunday December 3rd – Branson to MCI, flights depart
After our final breakfast buffet at the hotel, we’ll depart for Kansas City. Along the way, we’ll stop for a leg stretch to check out the famous Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World. We’ll arrive at the Kansas City Airport in the early afternoon. (B)
